此圖出自泰國曼谷時期（1782〜）巴利文貝葉經《太子須大拏經》。經文以柬埔寨文拼寫，共二十八頁，每頁高5公分，長44公分，其中八頁之兩側配置對稱之插圖。
須大拏太子本生事見南傳《本生經》第五四七則，敘述佛陀過去世行大布施的菩薩修持，在泰國極受尊崇，並廣為傳誦。此經插圖不以經文內容為題材，而是描繪大自然風景、動物和鳥禽。此二頁兩側插圖均繪兩株大樹，主幹彎曲，花果茂盛，其間之牛、猴、虎等獸姿態靈動。線條抑揚有致，筆觸細密富有變化，巧妙地表現出動、植物的形態美感。
