大威德金剛，又稱閻曼德迦，是藏傳佛教格魯派主修的本尊之一，有九頭、三十四臂、十六足，各有不同的象徵意義。
此件唐卡將主尊大威德金剛繪於藍色背景中，其身後的紅色背光與背景形成強烈對比。圖中大威德金剛多首的面形排列，極為罕見。蓮座的生靈八物（代表八成就）與八禽（代表八自在）活潑生動，其表現有別於典型的造像儀制。包括梵天、帝釋天與自在天等的五位印度神祇側躺斜坐、悠然自在，此種構圖布局更是異於傳統中被大威德金剛踩踏懾服的形象。
由鮮麗的藍色底圖用料與蓮座之鮮豔多彩蓮瓣的用色表現，推測此唐卡應不早於十六世紀。
