刺繡袈裟
韓國
韓國十八世紀作品。該袈裟為二十五條衣，以四長一短的長方形繡製成五段。分別於第一段繡佛陀坐像與立像，第二、三段作菩薩立像，第四段為經書羅列，第五段為尊者的坐像與立像。背面可見約二百年前高僧海鵬考證袈裟的法式和朴氏女性供養之銘文等。據此得知當時佛教刺繡之實況。一九七九年指定為韓國寶物第654號。
袈裟在純白絲緞上描繪出輪廓，其餘皆採平繡繡之。以粗線勾勒出線條，再用捻搓的細線繡製，繡面緻密平齊，呈顯出刺繡特有的質感及配色。此作品展現了精巧細緻的手工技巧，已難找出與其相媲美之作，為韓國刺繡袈裟之珍貴史料。
