龕像作木雕貼金。蓮瓣形龕內雕刻觀音坐像一尊。觀音戴高聳的尖弧形化佛寶冠，臉龐圓潤，長眉大眼，直鼻小口。屈右臂置於胸前，手掌已佚，左手持淨瓶於腹前，趺坐於束腰須彌座上。座似懸於半空中。衣紋線條粗略，懸裳覆於座前。
龕上部鏤雕山石，形似帷幔。龕下兩側各有一供養人立像，側身仰望，展現虔誠恭謹心意。整體尺寸雖小，設計頗具新意，雕刻技法圓熟自如，顯示出唐代（618～907）的造像風格。
