觀音菩薩像
泰國叻丕府庫布阿古城寺院遺址出土
一九六一年泰國叻丕府庫布阿古城（Khu Bua, Ratchaburi）寺院遺址出土。泰國藝術廳在該遺址發掘出大量赤陶造像，其中包括菩薩作品，證明了他叻瓦滴時期（Dvaravati，約6～13世紀）的主流信仰雖為南傳佛教，但大乘佛教亦曾流布。
菩薩梳管筒狀卷髮和扁條狀髮束，頭頂上結大髮髻，中央有曾安置過化佛的痕跡，故推測應為觀音菩薩像。頭微向左傾，眉高挑，兩眼俯視，嘴角深窩，流露出濃濃的笑意。右手執淨瓶置於腰際間，左前臂已佚失。著長裙，腰繫帶，從左肩至右腹斜披狀似獸皮的巾帶，上刻劃羚羊頭。扭腰，身軀正面呈三屈式立姿，體態優雅自然，富有動感，與大多數同時代的正面直立造像截然不同。
