四世班禪額爾德尼羅桑確吉堅贊（blo bzang chos kyi rgyal mtshan），是一位傑出的宗教領袖及政治家，於一六四五年接受蒙古固始汗贈與「班禪博克多」的稱號，從此班禪成為此一轉世系統的專稱。
此像後腦奇大，額部凸起一小包，下頦尖凸，顴骨高隆，脖上顯出喉節，造型特殊，體現四世班禪奇異不凡的相貌。右手前伸，左手置於腹前。內著僧坎，外披袒右袈裟和大氅，衣紋厚重生動。此像鑄造寫實傳神，是一尊具有極高藝術水準的佳作。
