刺繡普賢菩薩像 施宗淑

十九世紀末至二十世紀初繡品，出自清代（1644～1911）刺繡名師施宗淑之手。
普賢菩薩是佛教四大菩薩之一，與文殊菩薩同為釋迦牟尼佛之脇侍，騎乘白象侍佛之右側。其身相及功德遍一切處，成就一切善，故稱普賢。
繡像採立軸式。菩薩束低髻，插髮簪，面相豐腴如滿月，後有頭光。項懸瓔珞，臂飾環釧，帔帛自肩悠然垂落。盤右腿，舒左腿，坐於象背，頷首讀經。白象耳垂環，蜷伏於地，張口露齒，側首旁視。
畫面構圖簡潔飽滿，別無款識或題詩，只在左下角落印兩方。整體繡工精細，古典秀雅，水準高超。
