Sanya: Avalokitesvara of the Sea
南山海上觀音菩薩像

位於海南省三亞市以西40公里處南山南麓人工島金剛洲（觀音島），與長280公尺的普濟橋與陸地觀音廣場相連。建於一九九九年，工程歷時六年完工。觀音像高78公尺，目前高度是世界海上觀音之最。
該像為一體三尊造型，三尊手持物各異，分別為經篋、念珠與蓮花。觀音頭戴化佛寶冠，冠上的頭巾與身上的白衣連成一體。衣著樸實，裝飾簡潔，身軀比例合度。足踩一百零八瓣蓮花台，台下金剛台高30公尺，內為面積1,500平方公尺的圓通寶殿。
有偈贊曰：「南山觀世音，一體化三尊。持蓮法身淨，持珠解脫心，持篋般若光，圓通法無盡，八識轉四智，三德本五陰，妙音觀世音，梵音海潮音，瞻禮持名咒，有求無不應。」
