Jakushoji Temple: Mirror with Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva

金銅聖觀音菩薩像鏡

銅鏡背面線刻弘長三年（1263）五月八日，藤原真綱、紀業光等人敬獻若松寺之銘文，得知為日本鎌倉時代（1185～1333）作品。一九三八年指定為日本重要文化財。
鏡板為厚片銅鑄，呈圓形，細緣，作掛飾形式。鏡中央觀音坐像為銅質鎏金，近乎圓雕，與蓮座分別鑄造，再貼黏鏡面上。銅鏡肩部左右用鉚釘拴上環座，座上鏨刻多重菊形圖案，上設環形串鏈，用以懸掛。鏡周緣圈飾二顆、三顆交錯的凸菱紋。
觀音菩薩束高髻，戴寶冠。左手屈臂握蓮苞，右手舉至胸前，拇指和食指相捻，餘指伸展。身軀纖細，結跏趺坐於多重仰蓮座上。雙肩後設榫頭，像後的頭光、身光亦以鉚釘固定。
