觀音菩薩像 奚岡

觀音束髮披巾，彎眉修目，嘴唇小巧，為容貌秀雅的婦女形象。頭微回首作低垂狀，雙肩微溜，身著白色曳地長裙，雙手交於腹際，跣足。面部勾線簡潔精細，衣紋線條連綿流暢而略帶波折，此技法是由東晉（317～420）顧愷之形成的高古遊絲描之基礎上變化而來。
觀音身後繪竹林，墨竹蒼勁挺拔，濃淡相映，其間留白處表現雲霧繚繞，猶若仙境。畫面右下側山石坡坨用拖泥帶水皴，乾濕結合，渾厚華滋。畫面左下側自識「佛弟子奚岡敬寫於隨緣去住之室」，下鈐「蒙泉外史」、「奚岡之印」。
