畫面以端坐在瑞獸上的觀音為中心，兩側及身後有伽藍、韋馱、善財童子、龍女及四天王簇擁前行，周圍布滿祥雲，增添祥瑞的氛圍。
閔貞將高古游絲描、鐵線描、蘭葉描等筆法結合在一起，以精緻細密的線條描繪人物，其五官面貌、服飾裝扮、姿態神情均一一細緻表現。眾多人物組合為一個和諧的整體，生動活潑，構圖嚴謹而又富於變化。
