位於日本京都府木津川市山城町蟹滿寺，為本堂之主尊。有關該像之來源說法不一，有一說是從附近寺院遷移而來，然據寺境的發掘調查，可確認該寺創建於七世紀末，當時被安置於金堂基壇中央，故很可能為創寺時之主尊而備受矚目。一九五三年指定為日本國寶。
佛螺髮與白毫已佚，頭部碩大，面長而圓，雙肩寬大，膝部張力強勁，身軀偉岸，充滿量感。弧形雙眉上揚，外眼角向上，眼瞼微開，頰頤豐圓，嘴唇緊閉，嘴角略凹下彎，表情嚴肅。右手上舉結印，左手輕置膝上，手指微屈。內著僧祇支，外披袈裟，結跏趺坐。手掌似雁王之蹼呈縵網相，為佛三十二相之一。衣紋顯現出棱角線條。從其多樣性之作風，推測鑄於七世紀末至八世紀上半葉。
