佛像螺髮高肉髻，面相豐潤，眉目清秀，表情慈善沉靜。身著通肩袈裟，衣褶凸起，呈「U」形，薄衣貼體，體態豐腴。右臂屈肘向上，豎於身側，手部毀損，可能原作無畏印，左手自然下垂施與願印。原佛台座已佚失，現所配的是北周武成二年（560）的束腰仰覆蓮台，雖非原件，但仍不失完美。此像簡潔大度，飽滿雄健，體現了唐代（618～907）高超的雕刻藝術。
