橛金剛是藏傳密教中的本尊之一，或是見於伏藏法的本尊。橛，是一種錐形法器，此像因手持之而得名。根據《伏藏》經典《普巴金剛續》，諸佛為降伏作惡多端的暴吼天（印度神祇濕婆的身相之一），以神力令其神妃忿怒自在母產下諸佛化身的三面六臂橛金剛，橛金剛擊敗暴吼天並令其發心懺悔。修持金剛橛法，可制止一切鬼神、非人、天魔及惡咒之迫害，降魔息災。
此像為西藏作品，三面六臂，紅髮上揚，戴五骷髏冠，髮上有一金剛杵。呈怒目相，披象皮，掛人頭鬘，二主臂擁抱智慧伴侶，並握持金剛橛，背後有金翅，足踏邪鬼。下為聯珠紋裝飾的覆蓮座。
