菩薩頭束髮髻，面相長圓，雙頰豐潤，表情溫文儒雅。頸粗肩削，身著寬袖衣袍，下襬向兩側外展，左右平衡對稱，褶紋概括疏朗。菩薩端立於半球形覆蓮台上，其下為四足方台，四足稍微外傾，率簡無紋飾。蓮瓣形背光略顯狹長，外圈刻飾火焰紋，頭光飾蓮瓣圖案。
該像底部的四足方台前後鑄刻發願文「天平三年（536）二月七日文生造像一區□為□母□為亡□男女僧敬兄弟眷屬大小值□□法一時成佛」。
