甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。普賢菩薩正面，坐於六牙白象背上的束腰蓮座上，雖左上方的榜題未書文字，但據坐騎知其為普賢菩薩。
菩薩頭戴三珠火焰寶冠，戴耳飾，身佩項圈及瓔珞，飾腕釧。肌膚以鉛粉、雲母和滑石粉混合而成的白色描繪。雙手在胸前結印，身披綠色帔帛，白色繒帶呈「U」形垂至腹前，黃色長裙飾綠色花邊。頂上有華蓋，頭光、身光以綠、紅、藍三色暈染。白象足踏四色蓮花前進，轉頭回視，耳朵、頸項、腹部及四足施淡紅色暈染，並以紅線勾勒耳紋。畫幡下緣繪有雲紋飾帶，以紅色填補間隙。
此畫幡設色鮮麗，整體顏色對比強烈。為八世紀下半葉之作。
