咱雅班第達（Zaya Pandita）是十七世紀厄魯特蒙古著名藏傳佛教高僧，一生致力於藏傳佛教的弘揚，創制厄魯特蒙古族文字托忒文，又稱衛特拉特文，至今仍為新疆地區的蒙古族通用；並以托忒文翻譯藏文典籍，在溝通蒙藏文化方面有重大貢獻。
根據佛像底板托忒文題記及《咱雅班第達傳》記載，師圓寂後，由五世達賴批准，請尼泊爾匠師在西藏拉薩造像，具有重要歷史價值。此像濃眉大眼，鼻尖挺，雙耳展開，笑容滿面，臉龐清瘦，額頭和雙頰滿布皺紋。著袒右袈裟，披大氅，下襬包裹雙足，褶紋簡練括約。右手作說法印，左手置於腹前，結跏趺坐於三層卡墊上。整體造像刻劃寫實，栩栩如生。
