地藏堂八家地藏菩薩像

位於日本兵庫縣姬路市的形町地藏堂。採半跏趺坐姿之地藏像始出現於平安時代（794～1185）下半葉，該像雕造於鎌倉時代（1185～1333）中期。
菩薩像高155公分，雙手平肘，貼近腰身，右手握錫杖，左手捧寶珠，左足垂放於蓮花座前，右足平放，為圓雕之半跏像。面形圓滿，方額大耳，額頭正中有一白毫相，眉目修長，斂目，嘴角內收。體軀健碩，身著低領通肩袈裟，衣紋線條流暢優美。
身後帶圓形頭光，內刻飾細緻的蓮瓣紋樣，外緣刻劃梵字，反映當時的造像特色。
