該像以多材接合而成，眼瞳鑲嵌黑石。戴頭盔，臉形長圓，五官端正，目視前方，神態威嚴。身材健碩，披掛甲冑，雙手合掌，寶杵置於雙臂上，甲胄上膊雕飾有獅首，腿裹護脛具，作武士裝扮。身後為鏤空的輪輻形頭光，中心刻飾蓮瓣紋樣。衣服表面貼飾黏土紋樣，此作法為日本鎌倉時代（1185～1333）後期至室町時代（1392～1573）前期神奈川鎌倉地方的一種造像特色。
