菩薩頭戴高冠，冠上刻飾紋樣，冠旁繒帶垂落肩側。面龐圓潤，寬額豐頰，雙眸凝視遠方，小嘴薄唇，雙耳垂肩掛璫，表情端莊。身姿秀美，戴護胸。帔帛環繞手臂，垂於腹前，再飄至體側，衣紋刻劃深入，褶紋線條平穩流暢。右手平肘置於腹前，左手屈臂上舉，似作說法狀。左足盤屈，右足垂放，坐於象背仰蓮座上。象身瘦而結實，象鼻向內卷曲，四足伸張踏蓮台。背掛鞍座，上飾細緻圖案。
該像造型生動寫實，個性鮮明，服飾精麗而華美，顯示中國遼代（907～1125）民族的特色。
