此佛螺髮整齊，高肉髻，肉髻上飾寶珠，臉龐圓潤，面帶微笑。寬肩細腰，身軀比例適度，肌體結實。著袒右袈裟，衣紋寫實，腿上的衣紋呈橢圓形，是明代（1368～1644）造像的特點。身體曲線起伏自然，左手置於腹前，右手施觸地印。仰覆蓮座的蓮瓣細長圓鼓，瓣尖雕卷雲紋，整齊而不失自然，為明永樂（1403～1424）造像的特點之一。
漢地金銅造像在明代永樂時期藝術水平達到高峰，該像整體造型兼具漢、藏藝術特色，金光亮麗。此像座面刻有銘款「大明永樂年施」，為明代宮廷的造像，這類作品大多是當時皇帝贈與蒙藏地區佛教領袖的禮物。
