山東省青州市龍興寺遺址出土
一九八七年山東省青州市龍興寺遺址出土。此像出土地點在青州市博物館東200公里處的駝山路，乃北宋（960～1127）時龍興寺寺址東擴後的地域內，此地北齊（550～577）時尚不屬龍興寺寺院範圍。該像貼金彩繪保存完好，色彩鮮豔如初，應是北宋重妝，且是在重妝後不久即被埋入地下。
菩薩高95公分，貼金彩繪，頭戴山形寶冠，貼金妝彩，冠帶垂遮耳邊。面容豐潤，雙眼微啟，蓄髭，神情生動自然。身飾金色項圈、瓔珞和腕釧。右手上舉，手掌損毀，左臂下垂，輕提順肩而下的綠色帔帛，手指刻劃靈動逼真。下著輕薄貼體長裙，腰部結帶。立於蓮台上，神態自然。
