普賢菩薩及十羅剎女像

日本平安時代（794～1185）後期宮廷貴族女性為追薦或修來世之福，而將守護《妙法蓮華經》行者的普賢菩薩與擁護此經行者的十羅剎女繪成一圖。此圖繪製於十二世紀。圖中十羅剎女身著漢服，推測係此題材絹畫中年代較早之作。一九六○年指定為日本重要文化財。
圖中普賢菩薩乘六牙白象，趺坐於象背蓮花座上，從東方出現。象頭上載三化人，象身魁梧壯碩，披掛瓔珞，緩緩而行，回首東向。菩薩四周環護十羅剎女，其左邊另繪抱子的鬼子母，佇立近傍，每尊腳下皆無乘雲，為古風之表現。菩薩及諸尊身軀修長，氣度閑靜，動作優雅。部分衣紋線描繪碎金線，紋樣及輪廓均使用銀泥線，並薄施銀碎金，帶有玲瓏剔透、耀眼亮麗的光彩，為當時佛畫之特徵。
