韓國
韓國統一新羅時期（668～935）作品。經筒係安置佛教經卷的容器，大部分是六角形、八角形或圓柱體，造型簡單；外觀以陽刻或陰刻圖紋裝飾，並刻有經名、埋藏的日期或功德主的名字。埋藏時將經文放在經筒內，再用石製或土製的容器保存。
經筒呈圓柱體，底部雕刻八葉覆蓮紋，筒身中央刻雙鉤體梵字。筒蓋作扁圓狀，蓋面中央有凸起的蓋鈕，蓋鈕三層，似佛塔上相輪寶珠。
