Yotkan: Head of a Buddha

新疆維吾爾自治區和田縣巴格其鎮約特干遺址出土
新疆維吾爾自治區和田縣巴格其鎮約特干遺址出土，二十世紀初由日本大谷探險隊取走。佛頭作高肉髻，髻底繫二條細線，眉線低緩，眼睛杏仁形，鼻挺，蓄小髭，表情堅毅，轉折棱角清晰明顯，近乎常人的面貌。
頭後部已破損，內部仍留有空間，從肉髻頂部可看到四角洞孔，可能原先係設計內藏舍利容器。額頭正中的八顆圓底，尚留存赤色顏料的花鈿紋樣，臉龐至今仍可看出塗厚金的痕跡。頸項底部堵塞，顯示與另鑄的身軀組裝之特殊製作技法。
