智證大師諡號敕書 小野道風

小野道風三十四歲時所書，藤原博文撰。此卷為醍醐天皇於平安延長五年（927）追贈圓珍法師為「智證大師」的敕文。此時圓珍已圓寂三十六年之久，蓋因其弟子增命法師圓寂受諡，故而一併追諡圓珍，方有此卷之撰述。一九五二年指定為日本國寶。
圓珍為日本天台宗寺門派開祖，延曆寺第五任住持。平安仁壽三年（853）赴中國，受學於天台、密教、悉曇等宗諸師，攜經疏一千卷歸國。平安貞觀十年（868），敕許以園城寺為傳法灌頂道場，完成天台密教，形成後來的寺門派。
小野道風為日本平安時代（794～1185）中期書法家，與藤原佐理、藤原行成並稱日本書史上的「三跡」，小野道風乃「和樣」書道開創和奠基者。其書寫風格與寬博的結體，皆見空海大師之影響，點畫遒潤，已是和樣美學的展現，也是小野道風法書的代表作之一。
