和梅影詩 天然函昰

此卷為天然和尚酬謝鄴門所作。其書婉轉流暢，用筆純熟自然，起筆蘸飽濃墨後，一筆而下，直至墨枯骨力依存。整體看來，字體虛實相間，行距寬綽，氣韻相通，墨色多有變化，雖是快筆寫就，卻無焦躁之氣，一股沉穩的氣息貫穿其間。
天然函昰俗姓曾，名起莘，字麗中，號天然。明（1368～1644）末清（1644～1911）初僧、書法家。廣東番禺人。能詩文，兼擅書法。出家後仍保有愛國情操，每當廣東的抗清志士死難，天然和尚必寫詩哀悼，其高風亮節，為時人所稱頌。明末抗清志士，多皈依其座下出家，如阿字今無、澹歸今釋等人。
