此像頭戴寶冠，面目清秀，袒上身，雙肩帔帛繞臂下垂至蓮座上。身飾瓔珞、釧鐲等，原多處鑲嵌綠松石，現多已佚失。右手結與願印，左手當胸結印，二花莖沿手臂升至肩側。下身著長裙，右腿舒展，腳踏蓮花，盤左腿，坐於仰覆蓮座上。
背光由九個透雕卷草紋的圓框構成，頂端圓框中為無量壽佛，餘八個圓框分列左右兩邊，內均為度母。卷草纏枝中雕有靈活生動的小猴，形成一幅豐富的立體畫面。背光與蓮座底部相接，為西藏和漢地金銅造像中少見的形式。
依據綠度母的面相和鑲嵌綠松石等特點，推測此像屬十五世紀西藏地區的作品，但蓮座、背光的形式明顯受到明代（1368～1644）漢地金銅造像風格影響。
