位於日本大阪府交野市獅子窟寺本堂，為該堂之主尊，約雕造於九世紀末至十世紀初之等身造像。由榧木整材雕出，僅膝蓋前部以另材接合，左手腕與右手臂前端及裙襬為後來修補，其餘保存完好。頭部、背後及底部施以內刳，除眼瞳、嘴唇、胸前「卍」字有彩繪外，全像以素木潤飾而成，螺髮以乾漆塑形，並以釘子植入，甚為少見。一九一○年指定為日本國寶。
佛肉髻大而寬平，螺髮細密，排列規整。面相飽滿，雙頰豐圓，眉目修長，額頭正中有一白毫，右手屈臂上舉施無畏印，左手平肘呈托物狀，結跏趺坐。體格健碩，身著袒右袈裟，衣紋似松葉形之葉脈，褶紋棱條凸起，圓轉流暢，下裙包裹左足。曲線優美，輪廓刻劃深入，顯示受中國盛唐（712～756）造像之影響。
