Akishinodera Temple: Heavenly Being

位於日本奈良市秋篠町秋篠寺本堂。此像當初的尊名不詳，因其頭部微向左傾，似乎正在聆聽美妙音樂，表情顯得柔和愉悅，故自明治時代（1868～1912）起以伎藝天稱之，供人尊崇，現為日本重要文化財。
該像頭部是奈良時代（710～794）末期以夾紵脫胎法塑造，身軀約為鎌倉正應二年（1289）補作，由多材檜木接合完成，妝彩。頭束高髻，臉龐豐滿端正，口微開露齒，表情恬靜，顯示夾紵塑像之柔軟特性。身著帔帛及裙裳，右手屈臂上舉，左手垂下，手指輕捻，腰部向右微側，衣紋流暢寫實，賦予木雕典雅柔暢之感。頭部與身軀雖是不同材質、年代所製，卻能巧妙地融為一體，推測在補作時以當初的殘缺體部為範本。
