瑜伽師地論卷第四十
中國
首題「瑜伽師地論卷四十彌勒菩薩說三藏法師玄奘奉詔譯」；尾題「大中十年（856）六月十六日沙門僧智惠山隨聽學書記」。全卷共二百六十三行，每行二十六至三十字不等。
《瑜伽師地論》，內容記錄無著聽聞彌勒菩薩自兜率天降至中天竺阿踰陀國之講堂說法的經過，詳述瑜伽行觀法，係瑜伽行學派的基本論書，也是法相宗最重要的典籍、中國佛教史上之重要論書。
此卷為「隨聽學書記」，所以字多草率，非經生抄寫的整飭精熟可比。結體欹側，字距緊密，雖為行楷書，仍有隸意，筆法古厚，別有風致。字多異體，反映了中晚唐時期（756～907）書寫文字之實況。
參考釋文：律儀於現法中堪任更受非不堪任如苾芻住別解脫戒犯他勝法於現法中不／任更受略由二緣捨諸菩薩淨戒律儀一者棄捨無上正等菩提大願二者／現行上品纏犯他勝處法若諸菩薩雖復轉身遍十方界在在生處不捨／菩薩淨戒律儀由是菩薩不捨無上菩提大願亦不現行上品纏犯他勝／處法若諸菩薩轉受餘生忘失本念值遇善友為欲覺悟菩薩戒律／雖數重受而非新受亦不新得／瑜伽師地論卷第卌 大中十年六月十六日沙門僧智惠山隨聽學書記
