此尼泊爾作品原為一寺院的屋架支柱，雕刻精美，栩栩如生。此木雕以摩耶夫人為主體，描繪藍毗尼園降誕悉達多太子的情景。
浮雕上方刻劃各種奇花異樹，夫人綰高髻，戴寶冠，臉龐豐圓。上身袒，披帔帛，飾項圈、長珠串和臂釧。下著薄如蟬翼的長裙，腰間繫帶，長垂於兩股之間。右腿前跨，左腿屈膝於後、踮腳，身軀呈優雅的「S」形曲線，轉折極富韻律動感。右手握無憂樹的枝椏，右脇下為剛誕生的悉達多太子，右下方有一小型人物胡跪捧接，當為帝釋天。
