此尼泊爾佛立像作青年形象，臉形渾圓，斂目沉思。螺髮，肉髻低平。腰臀之間略微傾側，重心置於右腳。下垂作與願印的右手顯得大而突出，左手提起袈裟衣角。衣褶簡樸，薄衣貼體，只有胸前的數條陰刻顯示其著通肩式袈裟，為印度笈多王朝（約320～550）的造型，代表了笈多秣菟羅（Mathura）風格在尼泊爾谷地的展現。
由鐫刻於底部的梵語銘文得知，供養此像功德主有數人，祈求功德回向師長、親友及一切眾生共成佛道，而屈跪於佛右下方的人物可能象徵供養的功德主。
