泰國素可泰時期（1238～1438）存世的佛教造像作品不多，該像為代表佳作之一。
肉髻頂端置火焰紋飾，螺髮稠密卷凸，髮際呈弓形。慈目低垂，雙眉相連如弓，銜接鼻梁線，嘴角含笑。長耳垂稍彎，頸刻三道紋。袒右袈裟薄若蟬翼，摺疊的袍角從左肩垂至臍部，末端呈波紋皺褶。身形比例勻稱，手指併攏，指尖略微外翹，宛若初放的蓮花，右手作觸地印，左手置於腹前，半跏趺坐於台座上。
整尊造型樸實，無過多的裝飾，然身軀、臂膀及手指修長圓潤，線條柔和優美，充分地表現素可泰時期藝術的特色。
