華嚴眇蹟 童大年

中國

童大年五十一歲時所刻。此印布局呈封閉狀結構,促使中間密實,方形架構能助其沉穩,結體方正,無欹側之勢;其刀法有明顯浙派刻痕,是以澀進切刀為之,筆畫勁直硬挺,古樸溫厚。全印沉著有力,端莊嚴謹。
 童大年原名暠,字醒盦、心安,號性涵、心龕等。上海崇明人。精研六書,間作花卉,秀逸有致;善書法,尤擅篆、隸。工篆刻,取法秦(221~207 BCE)漢(206 BCE~220),旁參明(1368~1644)清(1644~1911),融會碑刻文字,好用切刀,刀法勁健,布局疏密間時有靈氣。
 邊款釋文:杭州西湖黃妃塔亦名雷峰/吳越國王記中曰塔之成日又鐫/華嚴諸經圍繞八面真成不/思議劫數大精進幢等語經/刻筆法勁挺畫平豎直意在/歐柳之間又類蘇孝慈墓誌銘/足為學者楷式予得片石供/養草廬勒此石以志憙/甲子嘉平月童大年作于海上
