童大年五十一歲時所刻。此印布局呈封閉狀結構，促使中間密實，方形架構能助其沉穩，結體方正，無欹側之勢；其刀法有明顯浙派刻痕，是以澀進切刀為之，筆畫勁直硬挺，古樸溫厚。全印沉著有力，端莊嚴謹。
童大年原名暠，字醒盦、心安，號性涵、心龕等。上海崇明人。精研六書，間作花卉，秀逸有致；善書法，尤擅篆、隸。工篆刻，取法秦（221～207 BCE）漢（206 BCE～220），旁參明（1368～1644）清（1644～1911），融會碑刻文字，好用切刀，刀法勁健，布局疏密間時有靈氣。
