此尊佛像創作於十四世紀西藏古格王國時期（10～17世紀初），胸肩厚壯，腰身纖細，正是藏地佛像的特徵。
佛面方正，神情慈藹祥和。瓔珞嚴飾，頸項、胸際和手臂均見富麗的裝飾。左手置於腹前，右手作觸地印，結跏趺坐於仰覆蓮座上，展現尊貴莊嚴、堅定不動之氣勢。蓮座下端飾卷草紋樣，左右各有一象。
背光以簡單的環狀透雕表現，更彰顯阿●（L）佛莊重沉靜的特質。
