屬犍陀羅早期單尊像。佛陀眼睛圓睜，唇上蓄鬍髭，波狀卷髮。通肩袈裟襞褶精巧地刻劃成深淺不一的曲線，極為自然寫實，展露出犍陀羅雕刻藝術的造型特色。兩臂手腕處均已斷損，雙手無存，由衣紋的紋路及一般犍陀羅造像手印推測，原應是右手施無畏印，左手握衣角。
該像大而圓的雙眼，以及略微傾側的站立姿態，在犍陀羅佛陀造像中頗具特殊性。
