印度北方邦秣菟羅（Mathura, Uttar Pradesh）出土。此菩薩像臉頰圓潤，以隆起線條表現眉棱，雙眼呈杏形，下唇較厚，展露微妙的笑容，為此時期雕刻常見的表情。整體形象儼然是一位貴霜王朝（約1～3世紀）年輕貴族，流露出朝氣蓬勃的氣質。
菩薩綰高髮髻，頭上裹有敷巾冠飾，樣式沿襲自王室貴族的頭冠。冠飾由一塊布分二或三層，呈不同織紋，間綴有寶珠。前額中間有長形銀製金屬扣，緊扣固定兩邊的布；餘布立起成冠形，中心作如花的圓形結。圓形結外圍飾一圈放射狀條紋，最外緣穿插植物紋。此頭巾樣式常見於貴霜王朝，多用以表現悉達多太子的頭飾造型。
