一切經卷首圖

日本

此一切經是日本奧州平泉(今岩手)豪族藤原氏三代的供養寫經,流傳著奧州藤原氏顯赫的家世,製於十二世紀,近七千餘卷。如此龐大的抄經數量在日本甚為少見,就文化遺產而言實屬宏偉可觀,堪稱為日本寫經史上之白眉。因是藤原清衡為中尊寺建寺供養而發願寫經,故又稱中尊寺經,亦稱為清衡經。一切經即《大藏經》,可謂集佛典之大成。此作現藏於和歌山金剛峰寺及岩手中尊寺,分別於一九五一、一九五二年指定為日本國寶。
 現存經卷形式可分為三種:第一代清衡發願的瓷青紙金銀字交錯書一切經,即於瓷青紙上一行金字、一行銀字交互書寫,乃金銀交錯書寫的基本形式。第三代秀衡發願的瓷青紙金字一切經。第二代基衡和第三代秀衡各別追薦先亡而書寫的瓷青紙金字《法華經》。
 作品大部分現藏於和歌山金剛峰寺,為瓷青紙金銀字交錯書一切經,四千二百九十六卷,乃安土桃山時代(1573~1615)武將豐臣秀次由中尊寺捐獻給高野山金剛峰寺。另藏中尊寺大長壽院,為瓷青紙金字一切經,內有十五卷金銀交錯書一切經,二千七百三十九卷,其經文以十二世紀下半葉從中國宋代(960~1279)攜至日本的宋版一切經為底本。
 經卷之封面以金銀泥描繪寶相花卷草紋樣,左上長方格內以金字題署經名。扉頁的卷首圖同樣採金銀泥描繪,以釋尊說法圖為中心,依經意,描繪寶塔樓閣、山水、動植物、人物等,圖樣豐富,成為當時繪畫資料之匯總而備受矚目。此經卷除金銀交書體裁不同外,封面、卷首圖樣、寫經形式、鎏金軸桿及色系繩帶等皆有共通之處。
