金製佛塔為供奉舍利的容器。塔呈八角形七層樓閣式，由塔基、塔身及塔剎所組成，仿木構建築。
塔基正面設階梯，周繞欄楯，表面飾鏤空圖紋。塔身每層皆闢四券門及四鏤窗，門窗錯位相隔。券門內均有一佛端坐於蓮座上。層層塔檐以龍挑檐，口銜風鈴。塔剎由束腰仰覆蓮座、相輪及剎頂組成；剎頂嵌珊瑚寶珠，邊飾火焰紋。
此作雕工精細，各層塔身高度勻稱一致，整體金光耀眼，巧麗端嚴。
