新疆維吾爾自治區喀什市出土。喀什古稱疏勒，為當時東西經濟文化交流之地，亦為佛法興盛之區。此像是典型中亞初期的佛教造像，為研究該地區佛教藝術提供珍貴資料。
該像結跏趺坐，作禪定印，面容呈橢圓形，額頭寬廣，肉髻明顯，無螺髮，頭髮顏色則以青、黑、紅來表現。所著通肩袈裟殘存紅色，以平行曲線來表現衣紋，腋下部位則以斷續曲線表現，體現出流動感。臉、雙手及袈裟邊緣皆有殘存的金箔痕跡。
