Yangon: Footprint of the Buddha

佛足印
緬甸仰光出土
緬甸仰光（Yangon）出土。此作以石材敷金而成，然部分敷金已脫落。在佛像尚未出現前，印度人即以佛足印來代表佛陀，東南亞許多國家亦沿襲此風。
此足印尺寸遠大於真人，外圍為龍王所環繞，龍身刻有紋路，原以彩色玻璃裝飾，現已佚失。五根腳趾幾乎等長，上有凸起的海螺紋樣，趾前方有一方形卯眼。足掌末端有一蓮花法輪，外飾兩圈同心圓，其餘分隔成一百零八格方格，內飾坐佛、寶塔、象、馬、獅、鹿、魚、鳥、蓮蓬、花、山、水、建築等敷金圖案，顯得富麗堂皇。
