Dharmarajika Stupa: Head of a Buddha

巴基斯坦西北邊境省塔克西拉遺址法王塔出土

巴基斯坦旁遮普省塔克西拉古城(Taxila, Punjab)法王塔遺址(Dharmarajika Stupa)出土。此像頭髮呈波狀,肉髻已佚失,面相豐滿,弧形彎眉,眼呈杏形,五官較為集中。嘴角內收,更添加純淨可愛與親切感。雙耳均有損壞。從右耳推測該像原具有笈多王朝(約320〜550)大耳佛像的特色。在眾多灰泥製成的犍陀羅佛像中,此像更突顯寫實的表情與獨特的相貌特色。
