Vairocana Buddha

毗盧遮那佛立像

該像約鑄於九世紀。《大方廣佛華嚴經》在韓國自七世紀後半葉開始廣受信仰，現存大量的毗盧遮那佛像中年代最早的可溯至八世紀後半葉，而且大多手結智拳印，顯示無上智慧，此像即為其中一例。
佛螺髮肉髻，面相飽滿，弓形雙眉連接鼻梁，雙眼微開，嘴角內收，大耳，表情端嚴，頸短肩圓，體軀較短，內著僧祇支，外披袈裟，跣足而立。袖口寬大，沿體側飄落外展，下裙垂至足踝。造像無任何裝飾，顯得樸實大方。
以大的頭部和軀幹表達威嚴，以重複的拋物線形衣褶遮蓋腿部，並於鑄造過程中移除所使用於頭部和身軀背面的墊片，而留下有洞孔痕跡等，皆為該時期的造像特徵。
