印度坦米爾納德邦納加帕蒂南出土
印度坦米爾納德邦納加帕蒂南（Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu）出土。佛螺髮肉髻，髻頂置火焰紋飾。挑眉細眼，鼻梁高挺，表情溫和。著通肩袈裟，薄衣貼體，下襬兩側波浪紋衣褶略顯厚重，宛如一件大披風。肩膀寬厚，體型修長。雙手屈肘平舉，右手施無畏印，左手作與願印，直立於仰覆蓮台上。蓮台底層鐫刻銘文，依內容推測約鑄造於一○七○至一一二○年。此外，銘文提及此像是用於寺院之節慶遊行，故知底層雕鑿四個圓孔，乃為遊行插杆所用。
此像髻頂的火焰紋飾、袈裟的表現手法及直立的姿勢，均為朱羅王朝（Chola，約850～1267）造像的典型樣式。其中頭頂的火焰紋裝飾和衣紋特色更影響了斯里蘭卡和東南亞的佛教藝術發展。
