此像融合了印度那爛陀的波羅王朝（Pala，約8～12世紀）風格與尼泊爾的造型，說明了尼泊爾與印度藝術的密切關係。
菩薩身形頎長，以明顯的三屈式姿態站立，此誇大的姿勢在早期尼泊爾造像中較為罕見。頭梳高髻，戴寶冠，頂飾火焰紋。寬額，面頰豐腴，嘴角含笑。袒上身，佩戴當時典型的珠串式項圈，左肩處披長聖線垂落股間。身著貼體長裙，表面淺刻素雅的花紋，顯得雙腿特別修長；臀部斜披裝飾帶。左手下垂持寶瓶，右手屈舉當胸原似持花。此像法相莊嚴，體態優雅，身上無過多的裝飾，技巧流暢洗練。
