Prakhon Chai: Four-Armed Avalokitesvara

四臂觀音菩薩像
泰國武里藍府巴空猜縣出土
一九六四年泰國武里藍府巴空猜縣（Prakorn Chai, Buri Ram）出土，為同批出土的四十尊佛教造像中最大且保存最完好的作品之一。或許在埋藏文物之際，較大且精美的銅像經過特別處理以免遭受侵蝕，故此尊觀音連每根手指和腳趾皆出奇地完好無缺。
菩薩頭戴高寶冠，中央置禪定印阿彌陀佛，故推斷為觀音像。身形高挑苗條，雙腿頎長，臀部瘦小，右臀微提，略呈動感。四臂，生動的手印和刻劃細膩的手指，使整體造像顯得栩栩如生，唯手中持物已佚，原應持有經書、蓮花、念珠和淨瓶。下身包裹短小腰布，於上端中間打結，衣緣翻摺呈波狀，風格高雅，與菩薩身形搭配完美。
