斯里蘭卡坎底時期（Kandy，1590～1815）十八世紀作品，刻工精緻，堪稱該國牙雕珍品。
佛螺髮，頂部原飾火焰紋，現已佚。額方面圓，彎眉鼓目，雙目微闔，厚唇，頭部及臉部尚存褐色漆痕，研判此像曾經通體著色，原應為褐膚、紅袍。
身形修長挺拔，寬胸斜肩，姿態略顯僵直。右手施無畏印，左手垂下。身著袒右袈裟，陰刻波浪形衣紋，線條稠密流暢，呈現出衣著的厚重感，為坎底時期的造像特徵。右肘及基座以不同的象牙雕刻，再嵌接而成。
