佛肉髻高隆，螺髮。額寬頤豐，雙目微闔，似進入深度禪定。著圓領通肩袈裟，以數條棱線刻劃領口，單線表現袖口和腰布上緣，下襬兩端呈翻卷的波浪紋飾，除此以外貼身無衣紋，顯露身形比例勻稱。右手舉於胸側施無畏印，左手屈舉於身側輕握衣角，左膝微屈，重心落於右腳，姿態典雅地立於覆蓮台上。蓮台較為扁平，下為束腰須彌座。
該像之衣著、體態和姿勢均反映出笈多王朝（約320～550）鹿野苑造像風格，唯面相較之更為豐腴，似非出自鹿野苑。須彌座底層刻造像銘文，據銘文推測此作品可能出自尼泊爾，另有一說為印度鑄造後帶到尼泊爾刻銘。
