Bingling Temple Cave 70: Eleven-Headed Avalokitesvara

炳靈寺石窟第70窟十一面觀音菩薩像

位於窟內中心偏後的圓形台基上。觀音十一面，由上到下分為五層。最上層為如來相，螺髻，塑有頭光。第二層為三眼紅髮、巨目獠牙相。第三、四、五層貌相相同，每層三面，共九首，面目清秀，表情慈善端莊。觀音比例勻稱，豐胸細腰，服飾華麗，戴項圈、臂釧、腕釧，帔帛搭肩繞小臂，袒上身飾瓔珞。下身著裙，內外三層，其上綴滿金色珠飾，顏色鮮豔。有八臂，兩主臂在胸前合十，餘六臂自然對稱伸展，均殘損。造像製作規整精巧，刻劃細緻入微，具有較高的藝術水準。
在炳靈寺石窟，佛教密宗壁畫遺存較多，但造像數量極少，此十一面觀音像屬明代（1368～1644）唯一保存的塑像，塑繪俱佳。
